We added a new group (SGS Info & Help).
You may post here your questions about the game at Kingdom of Sand, Nomos,
and Golgothica.

This group is monitored by Baal Zobel and Kora Zenovka, and include all SGS users
looking for info or help.

Keep it in topic. No chatting. No promotional messages.
Only SGS users are allowed here.

You may use this group chat to report the presence of griefers in any SGS sims.

you will earn one extra point as Social Status.
You don't need to be an English literature major and we don't ask you to write a novel.
Just write something about your character to start with, with your own words,
and you can edit and perfect it with time, while the character grow and develop.

How can you edit your profile?
Click on "PROFILE" on your HUD. It will redirect to your Account page.
Click on a link to 'Edit your Profile".


When you are in-world, on Second Life, click on your Avatar and 'Profile'.
First, make sure that you have a picture in your profile.
And if you have one , make sure that the checkbox 'Show in Search' is checked
in the same 2ndLife Tab of your Profile.

Changes to Clan Rules

- Animals MAY now join any clan of any group.

- Slaves or Prisoners MAY now join a clan of their group OR the clan of their OWNER.

- Besides these exceptions, clans stay mono-racial.


Just as a reminder that all the KOS notices are being sent out via in-house subscription system.
Unfortunately when the SL groups have too many members, the notices never get delivered unless you are on-line at the time (SL bug since 2007).
If you currently have a SGS HUD, you are automatically subscribed to it. If you don't , you can still check on the KOS blog -
The Chronicles will also use the same subscription system soon.

Explorer Tags

Now we have our own Explorer Tags.
- They are available at the Game Room.
- Explorers are asked to agree to basic SIM rules to be able to get one.
- They expire after 3 days (but they are renewable).
- You need to wear either a SGS HUD or an Explorer Tag to use the teleport.
- We welcome visitors, but we can live without griefers, and hopefully this is a small deterrent for griefers ;-)

- Social Status gives 8 extra points of physical health for each star above the default one. For example:
1 Star (Social Level = 1) : your max physical health is 100;
2 Stars (Social Level = 2): your max physical health is 108;
3 Stars (Social Level = 3): your max physical health is 116;
Max Number of Stars is 5.
You get 1 star from being a clan leader (1 leader and 3 clan members).
You get 1 star for each skill that you master.
Check your web profile or meter to see how many stars you currently have.

KOS Update, Wednesday 23 December

SIM Update


- Fixed an exploit of the safezones - who only affected Preys.
- Within a week all previous releases of SGS will become obsolete, so please update it.
(At the moment I am keeping backward compatibility with 30 previous mini-versions -- and I need to move forward)
- If you don't upgrade it, you won't lose your data, but your HUD/meter won't be able to initialize and it won't work.
- Upgraded SGS HUDs are available at the Game Room, up in the sky entrance. There is a sign on the wall.


If you are a clan leader, you may now edit the clan information in your account, such as:
- Information & Rules
- Rename your clan (if you wish)
- URL (if you have an external blog or site for it)
- Password (if you wish to restrict the access to your clan)

If there are at least 2 clan leaders who wish to restrict the access to their clan, I will also add a way for you to eject members
from the clan.
If you don't pick any password, the clan will stay open enrollment.

To access your account, click on "PROFILE" on your HUD.

Kos Update, Sat 19 December

SIM Update


This is mostly for preys. I have accidentally found out that free preys get damage from weapons, and it was never meant to
be like that. So if you are a prey, you should get this update.
Upgrades are available at the game room up in the sky. There is an upgrade sign on the wall.


The clan board of the top 8 clans is up in the game room.
It is web enabled, so you will need to play the Media Player in your SL viewer, if ir doesn't play it automatically.
If you click on it, it will redirect to the clan profile.


Santa clothes are welcome!

- Hospital Beds Script has been fixed, so it won't break anymore
- Employment Registers -I need to do a little rewriting of the code and it takes longer than I thought.

Kos Update, Fri 18 December

SIM Update

If you bought a Great Sword (Dark), or the KOS Spear, please go back to the game room and get a copy from the dispenser.
You will receive version 0.20 for those weapons.
The sword had an extra prim, and the spear was attached to the wrong attachment point. Minor bugfixes, but important.

Clans, Salaries, Skills


Players have been expressed their vote over the SIM rule for the last 12 days. This is the result:

a) Individual Clan leaders and a possible Clan council: 57 VOTES
b) The election of one overall Group leader: 41 VOTES

We will setup a board for the most active clans in the game room, next to the clan register book.
Activity is based on number of members and overall presence at Kingdom of Sand.

Clan leaders will be able to post their rules and info on the web.
Some have requested to restrict the access to their we will probably take care of this too.


The current daily salaries for skill training are:
70 SG$ for Level 1 Skill
85 SG$ for Level 2 Skill
100 SG$ for Level 3 Skill


The training is complete when you have gained 42 days of training.
Before switching to a different skill, BE SURE you have completed it, by doing the following:
- Check your web Profile to see if your skill is now listed as 'Mastered Skill'
- Check your meter to see if you gained another star (social level)
- If not, your web profile will show how many training skills you have accruited.

Various Updates:

* Small change in Setup, so "race/group" is replacing "group" only (This is mostly for Nomos and Golgothica, where races are more relevant)


* If you rent a business, any other store you are currently renting will NOW become available to other Ireem citizens.
Double renting is not allowed.
* Safezones didn't work for Preys who were also setup as IC/Non-Combatant. (Fixed with v 0.37)

Safezones are enabled...

Safezones for undead, dark knight, bedu, magi, knights, dungeon keepers, slavers and djinns are enabled and in place. Please let me know if you find any problem with them.
The other ones will be placed in the next 1-2 days

Version 0.36 is out!

Next time you pass by the entrance, pick up the upgrade 0.36.
This will allow you to use the safezones at KOS.
Upgrades are at the red jar in the game room.

KoS Safezones

Safezones are returning to Kingdom of Sand, as planned.
However, there are some differences from the old ones, so please read here below:

1) Safezone is now a special plugin at KOS. It was actually not meant to use in all SGS sims
2) To save on performance, thery are not built inside the HUD, so the clicking of a prim is required.
3) The safezone objects are special balls that you will find in all the group camps and in other key areas.
4) Once you click on it, everybody within 15meters from it that qualify for safezone will also be tagged as "Safe".
5) If you are in a safezone, your meter will display "Safe".
6) If you are safe, then you don't get damage within safezones - but you will still be able to combat (if you are enabled for it). If you are a prey, you won't get captured.
7) So in practice, if you want to hold a meeting in your camp or have a little privacy with your slaves, then safezone is highly recommended. If someone from another group come and mess with you, then you can easily kill him.
8) Because you have to click on something, they may not work so well if you are trying to escape from losing at a fight. Well, we surely hope so.
9) You will need version 0.36 (coming out today) to be able to use safezones.
10) If you are OOC or Non-Combatant, your status won't change. You won't get damage if someone attacks you anyway.

Vote on a SIM rule - Group Leader Election

First we would just like to thank you for all your recent suggestions, sent through the new system. There are some great ideas there and many of them will eventually find their way into the system.

This note is about the many suggestions and complaints we have had about the method of choosing leaders in Groups.

When we first planned out the SGS game we were aware of how all voting systems are open to cheating no matter what you do to guard against it. So we simply decided to do away with overall group leaders, and instead work out a Clan system where each individual Clan leader is responsible for their own group. If these Clan leaders wanted to form some sort of council to determine general group matters, then that would be fine. And even if eventually the council decided that they trusted some individual enough to make them overall leader then that would also be good. But this leader would arise through time spent working in the group, and not imposed from outside by us or elected by some controversial election system.

At Kingdom of Sand we intended to keep group leader system by electing the clan leader with the most members. However, no matter what kind of election we run, it is impossible to guarantee that the election will be completely fair. It is hard to decide who is elegible to vote, and who is an ALT or not. One vote IN or OUT, and a different leader may win.

So we are tempted to apply the clan system to KOS as well, but we -Baal and Kora- feel that *YOU* should decide what you want and express a vote on this matter.

You will be voting for either

a. Individual Clan leaders and a possible Clan council, as explained above


b. The election of one overall Group leader

How to vote?

Get the most recent version of the HUD (0.35). Click on HELP -> VOTE where you will be prompted to express your vote.

Version 0.33 is out!

There are a few tweaks in here, including a SL bug that I fixed by processing code on our external server (instead of waiting for SL to fix it ... ).
Anyway, it is not a mandatory version, but it is advisable to get it. It is available at the red jar in the game room, as usual.

Law & Order Skill Items

For those who are training for law & order, the new skill items now works on Delinquent and Depraved Moral Levels (below 50%).

About Food / Blood

A few things you may not know about it:
- if the food is served from a business, the owner (cash till) will receive 2$ from every item they sell.
- if you are in the wrong food type (blood instead of food and viceversa), you won't be able to buy it
- if you don't have money, you won't be able to buy it
- it will also check for your health before you pay for it, so you won't waste any money - hopefully ;-)

Food/Blood - small delay

I am changing all food/blood scripts at KOS. There will be a 20 seconds delay between paying for it, and receiving the food. You will need to wait within 10 meters from it to be able to receive what you ordered, or your food may end up to be wasted.
This was suggested by Seraf / Baal.

RP Limits in your profile

Suggested by Louisia, now your web profile has a separate section for your RP Limits (and your likes and dislikes). It is not mandatory, but if you have RP limits, it is better to write them down, to avoid OOC discussions over this.
To access your profile, click on Profile from the HUD, or, if you have picked a password, you will be able to access directly on the web.

Group Leader Elections are postponed

Several people are concerned about recent events that may compromise the fairness of the upcoming election. And I must agree. However I don't know how to do a quick fix . I was willing to show all the numbers on the web and I did, but I also see how this can be use in the wrong way.
I have always tried to have fair elections. If not, then we can just play dice and pick a random leader -- which may work too ;-). Anyway, we need to postpone elections. Sorry. I will send another notice soon.

Weapon Damage again....

I tuned the weapon's values based on Richard's suggestion. Please detach and wear your weapon again, if you are at KOS. If you think that they are unbalanced, go and beat Richard up, or/and then submit a new suggestion. Thank you.

Weapon Damage

Based on Tyr's suggestion, we have just increased the damage for all your weapons quite a lot. If you have your weapon rezzed, please wear it again to load the new setup for it.
If you think they should be tweaked them again, please submit it as suggestion (from HUD -> HELP -> SUGGESTION).

In case you missed a previous notice, just a reminder to submit suggestions by using the HUD. Click on HELP, and then SUGGESTION. You will have to pick a password and you will see a web form. That way the suggestion won't get lost, and both Baal and I will receive it. If you send IM and notecards, they are likely to be misplaced in my 1,000,000 items inventory ;-P

What's it all about...

We debated about sending this note as a little information is worse than no information in some situations. Anyway, this is for those who would like something to read while they wait.
For those who would rather just know how long the wait will be. Well, we are keeping a bit quiet because there are still some things to test so we can only say around a week, might be less might be a bit more. Warning, this note may leave you with more questions than answers, if so ask Baal, Kora is busy :)

What’s it all about.
Well first off, thanks for being patient and waiting as we get things finished here in KOS.
We figure you are probably wondering, what the heck is this thing that is taking so long, so here is an over long note just to give you a little idea of what’s coming very shortly, and we mean very shortly.
Our basic idea is to try to create a game structure that backs up, and hopefully provokes, role-play, something we can continualy improve and build upon over time.
Of course, a sim does not need a game system and meter at all and theoretically can run on pure RP alone.
We do not dispute this fact, but we wish to try to create something which provides players with some simple tasks that might make them feel motivated to do more than just hang around in a sim waiting for the next fight or using it as a pretty chat room.
On the other hand we also don't want the sim to fall into the clique mentality, where a few players dominate role play and dictate the rules of play to all others in the sim.
We believe that there are people out there who fall somewhere between the purist role player, who would rather die than put on a meter or HUD, and the all out run and gun player, who lives only to increase the kill score in their meter.
With this in mind we have tried to put together a system that mimics everyday mundane, but also essential, functions, such as eating drinking and states of mind.
Once you are setup in the system you have to move to survive, you have to do something, even if there is no one else in the Sim. Your life goes on from day to day, and you must take care of your chosen character or face certain consequences.
For instance, in KOS each day you need to eat, so each day you log in you loose a little health to reflect this daily need for food. Each day you will also loose a few mental health points; this tries to reflect our daily need, like hunger, for pleasant stimuli. This might seem a bit unreal until you think about how much time each day we all spend on doing things we hope will feed this need for pleasure, even simple things like listening to music or having a glass of wine or a can of beer.
You don’t have to deal with any of these scores immediately, a bit like in RL if you just worked and slept and did nothing else for a month. But after a while, you would begin to mentally feel the effects of the lack of pleasurable stimuli, and of course the lack of food. So in KOS you will need to eat to keep physically fit and seek out pleasurable pastimes to keep mentally fit. If you let your mental health drop too low you may well need to spend a while recovering on the mermaid island, listening to the soothing sounds of their songs. Some might want to move in permanently :)
You will of course need money to pay for your food and your pleasure. You can get this money by working at a mundane job, cleaning or sweeping the streets, but this will again effect your state of mind.
Maybe it would be better to learn a skill then. The skill system allows you to sell your skills for game money. So you could for instance learn the healing skill and other players would pay you to heal them, which healing will actually effect their physical score, same with mental healing. Of course you may also give Skills away for free if you wish.
Each person will be able to acquire up to 3 skills, but they must be learned one at a time.
Skills we already have include healing, Dancing, Prostitution, Musician, Combat, Brewing, Cooking etc etc. As I mentioned earlier, all skills will affect your physical mental and moral (see bellow) scores in some way.
Or maybe you want an easy life and decide to steal to get your money. This is also possible in KOS, but it brings us to another score you must keep an eye on, your Moral score. In KOS we believe in instant Karma, you pay morally for misdeeds. Actions considered to effect your moral standards drop your moral score. Who sets the morals? Well in KOS the Sultana sets the moral code for the citizens living in its city, and her Knights enforce them.
You can of course ignore your moral score completely, you are a bad guy or girl and you don’t care who knows it, well eventually the Knights will get to know and care, and at some point you will find yourself paying a heavy fine or even doing a spell breaking rocks on the Prison Island. Of course breaking the law is a great part of the game, you just have to be a bit cleverer to make sure you do not become a target for the authorities.
Maybe I should mention quickly the Clan system.
It works this way. If you think you can lead a Clan you can go to the clan register and register the name of your proposed Clan. This will register your Clan name which appears in your meter.
Being a Clan leader gives you some benefits such as a rise in social level, which in turn raises your max Physical health by 5 pointsb, but you do not get these benefits until you have at least 3 other members in your Clan. These members will themselves need to go to the register and sign in as members of your Clan. This will now give you the benefits of higher social level .
But these benefits will be taken away if anyone leaves your Clan leaving you with less than the required amount of members, so it pays to be a good leader.
Well that tells you a tiny bit about what’s coming and probably leaves you with more questions than you had before starting reading. But we just felt it would be nice to let you know a little about the structure. There is also the disease, yes have fun infecting all your friends :) a customizable combat system, a banking system, make it hard for those thieves, and a pretty HUD which will eventually have three skins that you can change as you flit from Sim to Sim, because the same System will be used in all our Sims from now on. So if you get tired of sunning yourself in KOS you can nip over to bleak old Nomos and hang out with the cyber punks in desolation city.
I guess this may well sound very complicated to some people. But you do not need to read the manual, just jump in and start playing and learn as you go. As I said at the beginning, the point is to try to mimic everyday life in the way that there are things you just have to deal with whether you want to or not in a day. It should be an aid to role play not a hindrance. In having to eat you will need to interact with others, in seeking some form of pleasure to deal with your depression you must again interact, by doing “good” and “bad” things others will need to interact with you. You can of course mechanically increase your scores by doing the minimum needed, but the RP opportunities are always there, and believe me the scores mean very little on their own except as instigators to more action and involvement in the life of the city.

Preys in the new KOS

Many asked what happens to the Prey group in the new KOS.
Whoever is a free Prey in the old meter will likely become 'Citizen Prey' in the new one. It better identifies the fact that free preys are likely to live in the city and share common issues with citizens.
As for the meter, 'Prey' becomes more like a capture mode than a separate group. However, the SL group stays, and they can still be organized and structured. So in fact, at the end it is mostly a reclassification, not a major change.
Also, for those who lives in a predator camp because their Master/Mister is there, they will have the opportunity to become , for example, 'Bedouin Prey/Slave' and serve and be loyal to Bedouins. This is usually a better fit for those who maintain a long-term relationship with their DOM.
So Prey will become a group within groups.

Cross SIM Roleplay

Someone asked us if we have a cross-SIM roleplay going on. And the answer is no. We have never found a SIM that would actually fit with the story of Ireem. We use a different combat system. And overall we believe that there is also so much roleplay potential at Ireem itself.
So if/when you leave Ireem/KOS to play in other SIMs, just keep the roleplay story separate. If we ever find a good match in another SIM, then we will officially announce it.

Prey for a Day - Sunday,August 30 2009 from 11:00 am to 2 pm slt

The men in KoS have been sadly neglecting the female prey. They run, they jump and for what?? We have lost most of our female prey. They become predators or leave the sim entirely. The new female prey coming in, are disappointed and don't come back. Soon there will be no one to chase at all.

Men have been heard to say how easy the prey is here, so maybe its time to show them they have to work for it.

The men of KoS need to brush up on their rp skills. I propose that all the females put on all their sexiest silks for the day and come and go for a run!!!

Now before you freak out, there will be certain rules to be followed?

1 - Our Role Play limits will be followed.

2 - Only one prey can be captured at one time by each Predator so she gets his undivided attention.

3 - If you cap a prey, you have to role play with them a minimum of 1/2 hour!! you can keep them the whole time if you wish but do not go under 1/2 hour.

4 - No selling on the block. This will tie up far too much role play time.

5 - Knights are more than welcome to put predator huds on for the duration and show us their role play talent.

6 - If you do not want to role play with this person ask them for release. They are not allowed to hold you. We don't need the hasle of ransome money transferred.

7 - We will be doing this next Sunday,August 30 2009 from 11:00 am to 2 pm slt.

We have had 2 large scale activities in KoS so far.

The first was the sex wars. Women against the men. All that took part had postive feedback from both sides. The main objective of the sisterhood was reached, participation. We thank all that took part to make this a fun experience. Was there a winner and a loser??

The most recent activity was the potion the ladies smeared on the men's skin. This gave them pain in their groin when they had sexual thoughts. Now, with the raw sexuality dripping from the lovely ladies of Ireem the reaction was guaranteed.

The comments I received from both sides were they haven't laughed so hard in along time. :). The best thing to come out of this??? Seeing the talent and creativity along with great senses of humour.

There were two that surprised me the most. First Sylvia Tiraxibar. My Gods woman!!! You're sexual advancements floored me!!! Never knew you had it in you. Well done!!! Next was Duc Zenfold. I never knew you had so much talent hidden as I only see you chase and fight. Kudo's to you both!!!

The KoS Sisterhood applaud all the men that played with us. Without you it would not have gotten off the ground. Special thanks to the men I watched or heard reports on ~ Merlin, Raddick, Veni, Kanon, Krist, killer, Azrael, Devlin, Sulaman, Polo, RyanMichael, Ariberto, Addison, Raiden, Arden , Joris & Mal. If I left out anyone I appologize.

Kora has been told of the KoS Sisterhood and has joined us. I ask that any ladies that are not already with us, get a hold of KITTY Maggs or myself shevaunn Clarity to get in on the fun.

For those that do not approve?? For those that think we waste our time and energy?? I say "pfffffttttt bite me!!!"

The next activity of the KoS sisterhood is in the planning stages. This one we will give a date and time for the start and finish so you will be prepard.

Rebel Groups (Updated)

Rebels of Ireem.
I have heard that there are a few rebels groups around. They have always been against the rules -- However, if you want them, they can only exist with these conditions:

a) NO OOC griefance of any kind. If you created a rebel group with your own OOC personal vendetta, you will find yourself booted from Ireem..

b) Rebel group will have to pack and leave their own original group and find hospitality and alliance with a leader of another group at Ireem. However, that leader may ask you to follow their rules. You need food and a place to stay, so you don't have much choice. If nobody gives you hospitality, the members of your group will all die of starvation, and that would be the end of the rebel group.
Since they have food and beds, The Ship Inn and Good Knight Inn may be used as your refuge, if the owner offers hospitality to you there.

c) You may keep your original tag (e.g. rebel knights may keep knight tag), as long as you don't use it to eat food or camp in the original camp group. If you go there, it is only to offer a truce or with an official proposition. If you are found camping or eating food there, taking advantage of the fact that your meter cannot get damage there, you will soon regret it.

A few more things about combat rules

- If you go to some other group camp, DO NOT be surprised if you get attacked and killed.
- If you leave your AV unattended, you may get killed. Killing a camper is not an honorable thing to do - but it is not against the rules of the SIM. If you do it once , no big deal, but if you abuse of it and use to grief and annoy people, you will likely to be warned and will end up to take a forced vacation out of KOS.
- Read RULES at Ignorance is not an excuse.

Just a reminder that your personal OOC drama is not part of the roleplay at KOS -So keep it for yourself or share it with a friend in private IMs. Do not use the KOS chat or the local chat for OOC. Also we expect everybody to be polite and respectful at ALL TIMES. If there is someone here that you don't like, just avoid to play with that person. OOC drama, personal attacks and insults are HIGHLY disruptive for the roleplay and will likely to be reported to Admins and Linden Lab as violation of TOS.

Saphire Yalin - Attendant to the Sultana

Name: Saphire Yalin

Age: 19

Your group/occupation/level: Attendants to the Sultana.

Brief background story of your character: As a child there wasn't much for her to have, as most children would. A doll perhaps or a pretty dress to enjoy in. After her mother died when she was 6 years old, her father did his best to take care of them. They weren't exactly poor, but they hovered over the level quite closely. Her father had a farm that was wiethering away slowly, with the lack of supplies to keep everything together. The Sultan of the land, was harsh and cruel to the citizens and demanded so much.

At the age of 15 she was forced away from her father, and taken to the palace to be a harem slave to the Sultan. Incased with jewels and royal silks felt like a glorious change in Saphire's life. But it had its downfall when she learned of the Harem ways. One night she was forced to bed with the Sultan, he lusted for the young one's and it was she he wanted. As he tore away the silks from her fragile body, Saphire took a blade and stabbed it into his throat. She watched as the disgusting Sultan died ontop of her, blood splatted onto her face like red paint as he suffered before collasping to the bed.

Her first act of killing was the sign of the fragile attitude changing instantly, the dagger she used clenched in her small hand that was stained in blood; kept close to her. Escaping from the palace she returned back to the farm in hopes of seeing her father; but only to discover his body lifeless laying on the floor of the kitchen....


Character personality traits, strengths, flaws: Saphire is a very laid back person with a very nonchalant attitude. She is very blunt, stating what she thinks about someone or something without really careing for the reaction expected. Aside from this, she carries herself very delicately and firm. Even though she is looked at as a woman, she is a born leader to take action and can be intelligent to the best she can be; which is one of her special traits.

Her Strength are the skills she hides under her flawless and breath taking appearence. Any blade possesed by her is as deadly as raddle snakes in a black pit. Her movements are quick and planned out each time during any combat she displays.

Her Flaws are simple and not too dramatic in a sense. She can't put too much pressure onto her left foot, due to a muscel damage in her ankle.

Palace is.. Hiring!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Calling all players!

The Palace is looking to expand its role in KOS, and boy, do we have some mouth watering positions open. We seek princes, a princess, nobles, lords, and foreign princes and ambassadors.

These positions are not for the faint at heart. I know among you are the politicians, the schemers, the backstabbers, the courtly, the poets, and the lovers of fine words, songs, and women. It's true: We are seeking the true RP’ers that exist out there.

What's in it for you? Access to court life. This means regular parties (in the downstairs chamber of the harem, no less!), the chance to rub elbows with the royals and push your agendas. Perhaps even get a higher level of influence ... what would you do if you had the ear of a Prince? or the Second Minister? Sure you could! Or if you don't aspire so high, come and meet the most rich and eligible folks in Ireem. Marry up in the world. ;)

And of course, the royal harem. The most beautiful, well trained women Ireem has to offer. They're just up there, alone in their gilded cage, waiting for you to come up and pick one (or two, or three) to enjoy.

How can you really pass this up? What's the worst that could happen? Maybe you fall in love, maybe you get to be a voice behind the throne or perhaps you get the throne itself. What's not to try?

First, we're looking for all manner of Lords and Nobles. If you are a wealthy slave trader or a business owner there is no reason you should not ask to become a noble too! You get to continue to do everything you do in Ireem, except now you can do it with a title, beautiful women and added influence!

Second we are seeking foreign princes and ambassadors. Expect to come with some kind of status, wealth, etc., as befitting a prince or noble in your own country.

Also, we seek to expand the Royal Court, and the following positions are open:
• 2 Royal Jesters
• 1 Royal Executioner (possibly with minions)

Lastly, we're looking for some very specific roles within the Royal Family itself. They are as follows:

*4 princes
*1 princess

There are some strict qualifications for the role prince and princess. Being royalty, you must live in the palace. You would not own a business or work outside the palace, etc. Of course you may have outside interests! But your main function would be to attend the palace functions, and participate in palace and Kingdom goings-on.

All the above roles require the ability to RP creatively.

Your group/occupation/level: Citizen; Royal Scribe to Her Highness

Brief background story of your character: My parents were killed in a fire when I was a child, and I grew up on the kindness of strangers. I don't remember much of my parents, not even their names or from what social class they came, and have no other family that I know of. When I was old enough I became a citizen, and went to the Palace to ask for some menial position, only wanting to serve the Sultana in some capacity, however menial. To my amazement and great gratitude, her Majesty appointed me as her Royal Scribe! I am both exhilarated and humbled, and so grateful for to be a part of the Palace in these exciting times!

Character personality traits, strengths, flaws: I am fiercely loyal and protective of those I call friends. I also have a strong sense of justice that surpasses social boundaries; I am just as likely to interfere on behalf of a predator under unwarranted attack, as I am to leap in defence of a prey or citizen. I am also fiercely loyal to the Sultana and those closest to her, and would gladly die in their defence. That being said, I can hardly lift the heavy scimitar I wear and would most likely be the first one killed should I try to use it; so you could say I am as foolhardy as I am passionate. Indeed, my friends are always trying to pull me back from leaping right into trouble :) I'm also very smart, very creative, and able to think "outside the box" ...but I'm an emotional creature first and foremost, and I react with the heart first, the head second (sometimes a very, very late second, ). Oh, I also have a terrific, if whacky, sense of humor, and an outlook on life that some consider "interesting" and those who know me jokingly call me their little philosopher.

Please use the forum to let me know if you want or don't want additional Knight Groups. The Palace Guards, directly at the service of the Sultana, will be created. But how about creating another Knight group? It could be Knight Templars and Knight Hospitallier or something else. Or Monks? If you have an opinion, please share it with the rest of us.

OOC - Please read

If you don't know what OOC means, please go and read about roleplay on the
When you land at Ireem, YOU ARE TO BE IN-CHARACTER at all time. Please KEEP OOC in IM, and DON'T USE LOCAL CHAT for OOC. Also OOC insults are NEVER acceptable. If you have a personal issue with a player, ignore him, and do not start a OOC argument in local chat or group chat. Ignoring rules at KoS will likely to get in trouble with Admins, so please remember, behind AVs there are human beings. Be polite.

Group Cleaning Up

We have been told that in many groups there are players that play a different role, so magi are in the bedu groups, slavers in the dungeon group, etc. From now on, leaders of all groups can clean up their groups by ejecting people that shouldn't be there. If you get ejected and you have a good RP reason why you should be part of it, contact the leader and make your 'case' respectfully and politely.
